Dr.
Jakarin Srimoon is an Executive Director
of the SEA-LAC Trade Center. He has been
in the international settings more than
10 years. His experience has been an executive,
lecturer, guest speaker, researcher, and
consultant.
He
has been a Management professor in Bangkok
for almost 10 years, as well as a visiting
professor at School of Economics and Management,
Tsinghua University, Beijing, a visiting
scholar at School of Business, Hong Bang
University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and
Faculty of Business Administration, Chinese
University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, and
visiting research assistant professor at
Mendoza College of Business, University
of Notre Dame, USA. He teaches undergraduate,
graduate and executive level courses in
the International Business, Economic, and
Strategic Management. He has presented in
several business topics in several countries,
such as Thailand, India, Colombia, Mexico
and Japan, in the areas of Trade and Investment,
International Business, and Marketing.
Also,
he was a consultant for Thailand’s
Ministry of Industry, Board of Investment
(BOI) as a project leader of “Promotion
of Thai Investments in Lao PDR and Vietnam”
of Thailand’s Ministry of Industry,
Board of Investment (BOI). He was an AFS Exchange student to the United States during 1989-1990 and a participant of the Ship for Southeast Asian Youth Program in 1994. He also was selected by the United Board to join its Young Faculty Leadership Development Program during 2004-2005.
