Message From The Director
Ajarn Thanita Khongruek
The year 2007 is a new era of modernization for the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. Just as
the world has changed under the influence of globalization, so has the education system in Thailand. The
role of education has become more sophisticated. It is no longer just a pre-requisite to a career. The
investment in quality tertiary education has opened up a new frontier to the success beyond today抯
business world. To meet this international standard, UTCC has committed itself to the greater effort in
the restructuring and enhancement of our international programs. It is our mission now to strive for
Excellency in quality education.
In pursuing this aspiration, UTCC will begin with the creation of a new identity for our students. This
new identity will reflect a stronger image of smartness and professionalism. Students will be encouraged
to think broadly and positively towards their life and careers. UTCC will focus more on interpersonal
level in information technology. All these will in terms enable our graduates to serve both the public
and private sectors in particularly the multinational companies in our country.
To provide an international environment within UTCC is the next major leap forward for the university.
Our decisive approach is reflected in the recruitment programs of foreign professional lecturers.
Currently, we have invited lecturers from more than ten countries. These lecturers come from Canada, the
United States of America, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Singapore, the
Republic of China, Tibet, and last but not least Japan. We believe that by having lecturers and students
from different regions of the world will encourage greater social understanding and learning within the
university.
I hope for the coming semester, students will enjoy all the new infrastructure and facilities provided
by the university. A better environment for learning along with the advancement in the international
programs will motivate all students to perform well and work toward attaining the highest standard in
tertiary education.
